To bring together young scientists from all over Europe, the junior sections of the ÖGMBT (Austria), SIB (Italy), SEBBM (Spain) and GBM (Germany) have collaborated with FEBS to establish a platform for exchange within the FEBS Network. For this, FEBS has created an open Room for the Junior Sections of FEBS Constituent Societies. In the future, our initiative aims at organizing events, such as lectures with key figures and researchers in Europe, as well as scientific and career sessions to provide insights to Europe’s leading research institutes. In general, we want to open doors for young European scientists to opportunities outside their home countries by providing the relevant contacts and thus fostering the communication within the network. Most importantly though, this emerging platform is still very dynamic and lives on the ideas that you are all welcome to contribute.
